world crisis you say? After Samsung sells nearly 10 million Galaxy S4 in the space of a month is the turn of HTC to give good news about its spearhead Android: the One. It seems to sell more than expected, prompting the manufacturer to double its production capacity to track a particularly high demand.
At a conference in Asia, the CEO of the division stated: “Our production capacity will rise significantly from mid-May” before adding “We are very confident about the sales of our high-end smartphone for the period April-June.” It will be interesting to analyze whether this is confirmed in the quarterly financial results, because lately the Taiwanese manufacturer rather accumulated losses.
Still, if the manufacturer seems particularly positive about the sales of its HTC One, if the First is a little worrying as it flows rather badly despite price cuts, as we mentioned recently. It will also see if the mini version of the One, hitherto known as the M4 code, which should be announced shortly, will arrive to take full advantage of a halo effect of the high-end model.
