Boombass HTC introduced a bass amplifier to connect to an Android smartphone.
The Taiwanese manufacturer, in a divorce with Beats Electronics, today announced a new audio device for its smartphones, called Boombass. It’s not really a dock since the pairing does not require a physical connection. It is rather a cubic box with the best bass to the sound that emanates from your Android smartphone. Pairing is via NFC, if your smartphone is compatible with the technology, otherwise the Bluetooth 3.0 (with classic pairing) is sufficient to stream your music. HTC promises that the Boombass “ bring a touch to the audio experience. ”
The Boomsound technology, present on some smartphones HTC Desire, the last 601, formalized today, began to emerge on the HTC One and One Mini via their speakers placed on the facades . Boom could become the “audio division” HTC, especially after the desires of Beats Electronics to separate from the Taiwanese manufacturer.
Boombass price has not been disclosed, but we know that the product will be marketed on the HTC shops from mid-October, according to The Verge .
