Since the release of Android 4.4 on the Nexus 5 towards the end of last October, all users of Android product are on the lookout for any information from the builders to know when this update will be available on their tablet or smartphone. HTC One will be part of the first non-Nexus Android Smartphones receiving KitKat because we just had official confirmation via a tweet that the Taiwanese manufacturer’s flagship smartphone, the HTC One, indeed receive an update to Android 4.4 kitkat, and it will begin the month of January.
Thus, the deployment of this new update will start first in the USA, then in North America to reach the United Kingdom to the beginning of next year. It is indeed a feat for the Taiwanese firm, because the latter has often been considered by consumers about the lack of updates to the operating system it offers to its former Smartphones. Thus, we can say for the moment that HTC Samsung ahead on this point. Maybe the Korean company is currently also preparing Android 4.4 KitKat for its products, but silence?
Speaking of Android 4.4 KitKat, I’m a little surprised at how Google is making this new update. Indeed, if the other Nexus devices like Nexus July 2012, for example, have not received the OTA update yet, it is noted that the Moto X obtained from the U.S. operator Verizon the has already obtained. In any case, fans of the brand are HTC are probably rejoice in ads for the company.
