HTC Eagle: a beautiful concept for a smartphone ... - Fredzone

This is not the first time Christophe Siméon is mentioned in these lines and this is quite normal because it has a number of interesting concepts, Samsung NxT as the Nexus + or LG Stellar. Sunday, he contacted me to show me a new creation: the HTC Eagle . And this time, Christopher sought to create a solid device, able to withstand shocks more easily. Because, well, invest several hundred euros in a smartphone and then see shatter at the slightest touch, it’s a little frustrating.

HTC Eagle, as you will see for yourself, largely repeats the lines of the HTC One, with some notable differences at the rear of the hull and its borders. Moreover, Christopher, if you read me, it may be necessary to think about removing the “Beats Audio” logo, right, because it is not really relevant. Anyway, despite this small error, this concept requires something good and it is very nice to look at. The metal hulls are still very impactful visually speaking.

Yes, they are pretty to look at but they are not without fault. And in fact, their biggest drawback is that they do not absorb shocks. Bottom line, the energy unleashed by the chance encounter between the terminal and the corner of the sidewalk is propagated through the device, and it often ends explosion of glass that covers the screen . Christophe quite Potash on the subject in order to find a viable solution, and so he devised a system of retractable feet.

The idea is pretty simple. When the terminal falls, metal rods will be deployed on the side of the upper edge and the lower edge. The latter will then absorb the shock and prevent its spread.

A pretty creative, in fact.
