If we rely on these preliminary figures, the next high-end smartphone from HTC looks like a monster power. But caution is …

If we stick to the usual schedule of manufacturers, HTC is expected to announce the successor to its excellent One in the first quarter 2014. But whatever is called for now “M8″ is already a victim of numerous leaks, the latest shows the performance of the beast in AnTuTu Benchmark. All this is of course to be taken with the usual tweezers and there is every chance that these results are recorded on a prototype of the product, probably far from definitive.

Similarly, recent cases of cheating invite us to be cautious about these excellent figures. Indeed, with 38,532 items under version 4 AnTuTu, the M8 simply explode the whole competition and win almost 12,000 points more compared to One. 3D performance, especially, seem monstrous.

In addition to the whopping score, first bench allows us to confirm that the M8 has a 5” screen 1080p and rotates with a Snapdragon SoC 800, but also to learn that Android 4.4 will is installed and 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage complete the package. A beautiful machine, on paper, that we long to discover a few months.
