Legal : Leaders HTC have been indicted by the Taiwan justice for revealing business secrets, collected kickbacks and created false expense
According to information reported by the Wall Street Journal and the Taipei Times, six employees from HTC just been indicted by the Taiwan Justice on the grounds of having transmitted to a third party provider of information design of a future smartphone brand. They apparently planned to launch their own model.
Ten years in prison?The accused HTC frameworks which include the vice president of design and director of research and development department. The six men were also received $ 1.1 million in the form of kickbacks and false bills. They face up to 10 years in prison and a fine of between 100,000 and 1.6 million.
In a statement, HTC said it expects its employees “the highest levels of integrity and ethics” and does not tolerate any violation of these principles. (Eureka Press)
