Bad news for owners of One X and One X +. HTC has confirmed that these devices would not be entitled to Android 4.4 – worse, they remain forever and ever Android 4.2.2

One X was the flagship of the manufacturer, released in 2012 and followed a few months later by its updated “+”, bringing a bigger battery, the extra storage space, a photo sensor better and a Tegra 3 processor clocked at 1.7 Ghz.

“ realize that this new cause of disappointment for some, but our customers should be assured that we have optimized these devices with our amazing picture and audio experience .” Not sure this is such comforting users who see profile shadow planned obsolescence for older terminals 14 months. Yet the One X One X + and are quite capable of running Android 4.4, Google has developed leading the widest compatibility.
