The deployment of the Android 4.4.2 update for the HTC One KitKat seems imminent overseas. The new version is already available on the “pure” versions of the smartphone.

Android KitKat slowly continues its deployment and last week we even know that it will be focused on the Galaxy S3 and Note 2 Samsung. For its part, HTC communicate on the subject by stating that the new Android version is finalized for dedicated developers models and Google Play Edition versions of the HTC One. Recall, however, that the latter have a so-called “pure” version of Android, that is to say, devoid of manufacturer-specific software layer. They are currently available in the United States.

For the remaining models, the manufacturer says that the certification of KitKat for HTC One is being adopted by the four major mobile operators. The deployment of the update should not delay for subscribers benefiting from mobile. At the moment, in France, information on the update to Android 4.4.2 HTC One is very patchy.
