Official: One version of the HTC Google available June 26 in the U.S. - ZDNet (blog)

Technology: HTC has confirmed the launch of HTC One with an original version of Android 4.2.2, no custom overlay. It will initially be sold in the United States on Google Play from June 26 to 599 dollars.

Despite the denial of HTC, the rumor had not abated. There will be a HTC One “Nexus user experience,” that is to say with a “pure” Android 4.2.2 release without modification. The Taiwanese manufacturer has confirmed yesterday in a blog post. It will first be marketed in the United States via the Google Play store from June 26 to 599 dollars with 32 GB of storage. HTC has not revealed anything about the availability in other countries.

Samsung Galaxy S4 “Google Edition”, so here are two of the most popular Android smartphones of the time available in original version. However, this new trade policy sought by Google does not mark the end of the Nexus devices. Yesterday Pinchai Sundar, head of Android and Chrome, said in an interview with the D11 (All Things Digital) conference that the Nexus range is maintained, without giving further details.
