If

unsurprisingly, Samsung, Nokia, LG and Apple dominate the mobile market, we mainly observed that except Sony, all other manufacturers of world top 10 are of Chinese nationality. ZTE, Huawei, TCL, Lenovo and Yulong are now part of the largest sellers of phones. The first two are well known throughout the world, their devices are available for several years on all continents. For the other three, it remains foremost brands available in Asia and particularly in China.

quick presentations, TLC Communication is a subsidiary of TCL Corporation. Manufacturer of televisions, some of which are available in Europe, as well as refrigerators, washing machines or air conditioners, the company has distinguished itself by acquiring the mobile division of Alcatel in 2004/2005. TCL, with a beautiful growth of 15%, can already boast ahead of Sony (0.7%).

Regarding

Yulong, which has by far the largest increase in the top 10 (137%), its phones are known as Coolpad. These are more or less available in the world, but the brand is still quite confidential in the West and is supported by local operators such as China Mobile. However, in recent months, Coolpad trying to make a place in the United States, via the operator MetroPCS. However, we do not yet know if these devices are successful.

another Chinese manufacturer Lenovo is to surprise. With a growth of 33%, the manufacturer is already the ninth seller of phones in the world, thanks to its enormous weight in China, chances are great to climb in the standings. Let us recall with 13.2% of the smartphone market, Lenovo is already the second local vendor behind Samsung, and thus to all other companies, including Apple and Nokia. Moreover, Lenovo has made no secret that he intended to invade Europe next year or the following year.

Three new manufacturers in the top 10, all Chinese

Finally, it is interesting to compare the top 10 in the first quarter of 2013 with its equivalents in previous years. A good way to realize huge changes. Until last year, no Chinese was not so in the top five, and there were only two in the top 10 (but three in 2010).

addition increases or appearances of the Chinese, we can see the disappearance of Motorola, RIM and HTC this year, or the rise of Apple, which however has no traditional telephone but only smartphones, to Like Sony recently.

Note that according to Gartner, the Asia-Pacific region accounted for 226 million elapsed in the first quarter phones, or 53.1% of the global market. Given that China alone has captured 25.7% of global sales. What better understand this massive influx of Chinese manufacturers.
