HTC Desire formalizes its 500 Taiwan - Frandroid

Even as the eyes are on HTC One mini formalized without notice by the brand in the course of last week, the Taiwanese company today with a recurrence terminal midrange for now for Taiwan, Desire 500.

HTC has not finished with Desire, which now resemble more the One 2012 in terms of design. Desire and 500 points largely a One S in front, for a mid-range positioning: The terminal offers a 4.3 inch screen for a definition of 480 x 800 pixels, but also a dual-core Snapdragon processor running at 1 200, 2 GHz and coupled with 1GB of RAM. Inside, 4 GB of expandable storage via a microSD card or NFC … but no stereo speakers.

Interface side, count on 5 Sense coupled with Android Jelly Bean, without BoomSound nor UltraPixel sensor that make the characteristic of the new One, but still with a back 8 megapixel sensor with f/2.0 aperture and a camera front of 1.6 million points. All for a price of 11,900 Taiwan dollars, about 300 €. For now, the 500 is a Taiwanese Desire exclusivity, while the West should instead discover the recently announced Desire 600.
