the way, how is HTC? The sick man of the smartphone industry continues a painful convalescence. For its second quarter, HTC displays a turnover of 2.35 billion dollars in profits 41,630,000. This is better than the previous quarter, where the manufacturer s’ was merely 1.45 billion of revenue for 2.8 million profit, but is still far from the 70 million expected by Wall Street profits. Compared to the second quarter of 2012, profits were down 83%.
HTC is still in big trouble, and survives only through the One, a smartphone that Samsung has got a small boost: the unit has been praised for a much more innovative than the Galaxy S4 design. But the coming quarters may be more difficult with the upcoming releases of future Apple devices and an increasingly strong Asian competition. Besides the manufacturer has lost much of its executives in recent months.
